Customizing A-Dock with A-Dock Control

The “Items” pane :

    This pane lets you setup how items will be displayed inside the dock, and setup their behavior.

Sorting of non-favorites

    Favorite applications always stay where you dropped them.
    Non-favorites applications are sorted following the rule you have selected here. It can be :

    • by alphabetical order
    • by reverse alphabetical order
    • by launch order
    • by reverse launch order

Show Trash

    Choose whether you want the Trash to appear at the end of the dock or not.

Show Desktop

    Choose whether you want the desktop to appear at the end of the dock.
    Clicking on the desktop icon in A-Dock will hide every application except the Finder to reveal the desktop.

Contextual menus

    Eash item in A-Dock has a contextual menu that can be activated by control-click or click&hold. The delay before the menu appears can be changed from 0.2 secs to 2 secs.

One-click-sticky-menus for favorite folders

    If this option is checked, a single click on a favorite folder in A-Dock will pop up the contextual menu to access its content. A control-click on the same folder will open it in the Finder.

Spring-loaded menus

    You can enable/disable the spring-loaded-menus function and setup the delay before which the popup menu will appear when dragging an item onto a folder in A-Dock.
